Instant Pot 101, with recipes, via Shondaland

Ever heard of the Instant Pot? Introduced about 10 years ago, the multi-function pressure cooker created by Dr. Robert Wang has taken the cooking world by storm. It seems everyone I know has one, including professional chefs who swear by it when cooking at home.

At first, I tried to block out all the noise. Why would I need an Instant Pot when I have all the pots and pans I need, not to mention a couple of slow cookers and a trusty stove-top pressure cooker? Besides, my kitchen is the size of a postage stamp — I just don’t have the room. Finally, I didn’t want my heart broken by another overhyped culinary “miracle” that really wasn’t miraculous at all.

But I gave in. And not only was my heart not broken, I’ve essentially left my pots and pans for the Instant Pot. Read more here.
